Lessons I Learned From My Back Surgery

I’ve learned so many things from so many fields and so many people in getting my back 100%.

My back injury didn’t happen in a vacuum there wasn’t one thing that went wrong. So rehab wasn’t going to be one thing or one cook book approach.

It required a truly whole body, whole person approach that de-centered the tool that was used (the treatment) and centered the human- the layers of history that lead to the extrusion and the layers of life that influenced recovery.

A rehab like this (any many difficult clients) requires the provider to step out of the ego and into the wisdom of the body and learn how to tap into the body’s self healing capabilities and movement efficiency.

Are you ready for this new lens of view a truly whole body approach?
